After a late night of food, wine, and fireworks, followed by 12hrs of sleep, I got in my first ride of 2009.

It was also the first ride on my new P3C.
The first ride on a freshly built bike usually requires taking some extra tools along, and sure enough, 1/4 mile into my ride I need to tighten up a couple bolts. I rolled out of Mililani, through Wahiawa, down Snake Rd, and out to Camp Mokuleia / Dillingham. Apart from one stop to move in the elbow pads and seat height, the ride went smoothly. Although a little painful, it's fun to be back on the TT bike again, and I can't wait for the first batch of 3 TT's in Feb / March.
So far, I really like 3T Ventus aerobar, but even with the -17 deg stem, my front end is still a little high. I've got some modifications planned to fix that!
