    Burning the KJ's

In the past few months I've barely done any riding out towards Hawaii Kai, but tonight I got to do a loop out to Sandy Beach with Mike Proffitt. I decided to get in a sweetspot ride and it went pretty good. Average watts ended up only being 235 due to a slow start and end to the ride in Honolulu traffic. I covered the first hour with a Pavg of 285w and Pnorm of 303w, and the best part of 1000kj.

My Cervelo P3C is almost complete and ready to ride... I just need a couple brake cables to fit my 3T Ventus aerobar as they don't use the standard cable ends. Kreitler are one of my sponsors for 2009 so I'll be spending a lot of time riding the P3C on their rollers.

I picked up a Zipp Sub9 for the rear despite reading that the clearances are super tight. At <150lbs, I'm not so worried about flex, but I don't think that the P3C / Sub9 is a great combo for a heavier rider.

    Super tight clearances!
